Eat with your children
It’s likely that you pick at food when you’re preparing dinner for your children, and then you will then go on to eat another meal with your partner later on in the day. While you might think that a chicken nugget here and there won’t make any difference, over time the weight will slowly creep on, and you’ll be left even unhappier with your body. Rather than eating at different times with your children, why not set a time for the whole family to eat?
Children are more likely to gain good table and eating habits this way too. Also, all those veggies you’re packing into your children’s meals? They will give you the nutrition and hearty meal that your body is craving. Consider eating together to change your eating habits for the better.
Dedicate time for working out
Working out? Ha! Many parents are probably wondering how squeezing time in for working out is even possible. Those times when your children are with their other parent, or grandparents, or even at daycare are perfect times to squeeze in a quick workout.
While ideally, you’d want to spend a fair amount of time in the gym, there are gym workouts for busy people that can be taken on so that you’re getting some sort of exercise and building yourself towards where you want to be. Maybe you and your partner could alternate evenings to pop to the gym so that you’re both as healthy as you can be.
Get more sleep!
Sleep is one of the most important functions that the body does. It allows our minds and bodies to regenerate and relax. When you’ve got children, sleep might be interrupted, but you can still work towards getting a better night of sleep no matter how many times you’re woken up. Listening to hypnosis tapes allows you to fall into a gentle and natural sleep without the risk of not being able to wake up if your children wake up. Sleep hypnosis tapes are calm and relaxing, and can really affect your quality of sleep.
Cut out caffeine
Finally, caffeine might be your savior but it’s not doing your body or mind any favors. Switch to decaf coffee and avoid sugary drinks so that your able to regain the ability to have the energy that you used to. Up your water intake and you’ll soon notice how much brighter you feel once you’ve cut out caffeine for good!
