Slow Cooked Venison Recipe Instant Pot. Living in South Texas we are blessed to be able to stock the freezer every year with a deer. This year was no different. I threw a recipe together and wanted to share it since it is so easy and tastes amazing!!
Venison Slow Cooked Mushroom Steak & Gravy
Ingredients:
1 to 2 pounds of Venison diced to the desired bite-sized chunks
1 package of dried onion soup mix
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
2 tsp. of Tony Chachere’s Creole Brown Gravy Mix (or seasoning)
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 cup sliced mushrooms
Directions:
Mix everything together except the meat, layer the meat then the mix then the meat again then the mix. Do not add water!
Cook on slow cook for 6 hours.
I boil Skinner medium egg noodles and serve it over noodles for a delicious quick and easy meal!
